Squirrelcart is easy to install. It requires a familiarity with FTP. You will also need to install the MySQL DB, which is fairly simple, and is explained in our installation instructions. We also offer installation services should you need them.
If you've never installed a script on your website or uploaded files to it, you probably don't have the experience needed to perform an installation and may want to order our installation service.
If you know what FTP is and how to use it, and can edit text files, you can probably handle it yourself.

In order to get the latest version of Squirrelcart, your download access must be active. If you're not sure if it's expired, you can check it here.
If your download access has expired, you can renew it by ordering a download renewal.
If your download access is active, you can download the latest version and follow our upgrade instructions to perform an upgrade yourself. If you would like us to perform the upgrade for you, you can purchase our upgrade service. This service covers our time only, and does not include software. If you order this service and your download access is expired, you also need to order a download renewal.
We offer a 14-day money back refund on Squirrelcart (all versions), our modules, and our themes. If you decide it's not for you, send us confirmation that you've removed it from your site, and we will refund your money.
Services, custom work, license renewals, bulk discounted purchases, and support fees are not covered by this policy and are non-refundable.
Squirrelcart Pro includes (1) free installation service as an incentive. If you purchase Squirrelcart Pro, take advantage of that incentive, and then request a refund, the amount of your refund will be reduced by the cost of that service if installation has been performed.
Each Squirrelcart (or module, or theme) purchase gives you a license to use that software for a single store installation. If you need to use Squirrelcart (or a module, or a theme) for more than one store, you will need to purchase a license for each store.
If you need to run multiple copies of Squirrelcart even on the same domain, you still need to order one license per store.
Our themes include many different display options. You are allowed to use any of those options on a single store, for each theme license you purchased. You cannot use a theme on another store unless you purchase another copy of that theme.

Squirrelcart stores the orders in your database, and emails them to you. It also emails the customer a confirmation email. Both of these emails can be turned on or off, and you can send the order notification email (for the merchant) to as many email addresses as you like.See here for more info.

Squirrelcart does not store credit card numbers for security reasons. If you have a merchant account and access to a payment gateway, you will not need access to card numbers under normal circumstances. The best and most secure way of accepting credit cards is through a payment gateway.
