Squirrelcart supports charging sales tax on a per State / Province basis. Tax is applied to the product total at checkout based on the tax records you've created, and the state that the customer has specified in their shipping address.

 

To view sales tax records, use this menu option:

 

 

 

An overview of the Sales Tax record is below:

- Used to specify the state that the tax will be applied for

 

Tax

- Decimal representing the tax percentage for the state selected.
