PayPal is a payment method that allows you to accept payments made via credit cards without having a merchant account. Because PayPal is considered a Payment Method in Squirrelcart, you can accept both PayPal payments AND credit card payments (via a payment gateway). Your customer would see PayPal listed as a payment method at checkout, along with the credit card payment methods that are enabled.

 

Enabling PayPal Payments

 

1. Sign up with PayPal

 

PayPal requires that you have an account with them. You will need to sign up at http://www.paypal.com.

 

 

2. Open the PayPal Payment Method record in edit mode
