Your installation is nearly complete. You've successfully connected to your database. It should now be empty. Squirrelcart needs certain tables and records to function. Because of this, it is necessary to import these initial datbase records before using Squirrelcart.

 

1. Import database tables and records

 

Open the "squirrelcart/import_db.php" file in your browser. For most installs, the URL to this file should be:

 

http://YourWebSite.com/squirrelcart/import_db.php

 

You should see the following:

 

 

Make sure that you see a message indicating that the database import was successful. Leave this browser window open, but do not click the "Click here" link yet.

 

 

2. Delete import_db.php

 

For security reasons, Squirrelcart requires that you delete the "import_db.php" file. Delete this file now, using your FTP client. It is located in the squirrelcart folder.

 

3. Test DB import

 

Click the "Click here" link to go to your storefront. If you do not see any errors, your install was successful! Congratulations!
